Siding colors

I need some opinions on house color. My top three are dark grey, olive green, and a champagne beige color.  The roof (see below) is a multi color grey with some brown and black. The trim and gutters are bright white. Thoughts? We're painting next summer.

P.S. This is post number 1,000. not many blogs make it this far!

Crib issue

Immediately following a loud THUD! this afternoon we have learned that Clifton can get out of his crib. Seeking long term solution. What happened to my babies being babies?

Having a moment

I'm in the living room listening to my two kids playing together in their bedroom. They are speaking gibberish and weirdly understanding each other. I'm having a mom moment.

Fixing up the Bungalow!

We are gearing up to get a much needed new roof, gutters and a solar tube for the house. The front porch is getting repaired soffit's! We're SO EXCITED! Here are the choices we've made so far:

This is what the Solar tube looks like from the inside. The living room always feels dark,even with two lamps in the corner. This will fix it and be a nice bonus for our little home.

These are basic gutters and downspouts, nothing fancy. Just having gutters that work will be an amazing upgrade! Color choice: White #03

I was struggling with roof colors. I love the Dark brown color palette, Grey is the most versatile with siding colors and Black looks so modern and clean. This "Mountian Timber" style has a little bit of all three. Winner.

Next year we fix the siding, paint (still deciding color), widen the trim, update the front / back doors and add shutters. We may even mow the grass...

First day of Preschool!

She knows her classroom, teachers, friends and schedule. I wish I could worry or feel sad about Sable having no problem letting go of my hand to run off and play, but I can't. Everything is fine and everyone is happy. She's riding the bus home. I'm excited for her!

Go Bears!

I took Sable and Cliff to see their cousin Caine play football today. Grandma Dawn and Caine's dad Jason sat in the stands with us. Sable was hollering "Go Bears! WooHoo!" and clapping along with the cheerleaders. Cliff was busy trying to find escape routes. It was a pretty good game!

Nicknames

Sable calls her brother Clifton "Buddy"... and he answers to it.

Grant is my second cousin. we lost him this week... way to young.

Watching the Seahawks with Sable & Clifton. Every now and then Sable will yell at the screen "Come On!" Im not sure who she is rooting for.

Reading time

While reading the Baby Lion book to Sable today, Cliff spotted us. He hurried across the floor, thump thump thump, to grab his favorite blanket then crawled up onto my lap to snuggle and hear the rest of the story.

Question answered

Mom: "What do you want for dinner tonight."
Sable: "Cheese!"
She said it like she was the first person to ever have this brilliant idea.
