Future trouble

John told his grandson Clifton "You're going to have a lot of time outs in the future, I can tell. You should pick your corner now."

Beautiful things

I'm surrounded by beautiful things all the time, every day. Here is my top 5:
1. My daughter waking up and walking into the living room in her PJ's with messy hair and a teddy bear
2. Sable and Cliff playing together on the floor
3. My sons happy cooing sounds.
4. Holding my kids hands
5. Sable's smile when she is handed an orange/Popsicle/phone/book/etc.

Black-end Friday

Joel and I have never celebrated Black Friday; We aren't Orthodox. I worked all day and Joel played games with friends. My mom watched pinky and stinky. Joel was in a car accident that messed up his neck and back. It was the first accident that he has ever been in. Poor guy.

Dance, Daddy, Dance!

Joel is trying to go to bed. He keeps telling Sable goodnight but she grabs his hand, pulls him back into the living room saying "Dance!" They've been shakin' it for over ten minutes now. Daddy can't say no to his cute girl.

Tall kids!

Joel and I went to a book release for my English Professor last night. It was pretty exciting to see him accomplish a book. Click here to see the book. My sister Stacy and nephew Caine watched the kids and had a great time. When they were leaving, Stacy told Sable, "I Love You." and Sable said it back. Stacy looked VERY happy about that.

The kids are growing like crazy! Sable has longer legs all of a sudden and has outgrown her jeans. Clifton is in 12 month sizes and getting longer by the second! Tall kids!

We are still experiencing car woes. My mom has lent us her Van so we can function.

Tomorrow is Sable's first picture day and my first parent-teacher conference! Pretty exciting.

Clifton is claiming the tractor.

causing a ruckus.

pretty thoughtful...

This is what was waiting for me when I got home from a late night of work on my Birthday.
Joel made it himself and didn't even take a bite before I got home! Sable kept pointing at it saying "Happy!"
I love my family!

Joel: "So, how old are you going to be?"

Keri: "36, why? Are you going to trade me in?"

Joel: "No. I was just thinking how young that is."

Poor Joey, feeling older

Milestone

Cliff is cruising.
Babies usually start cruising around 10-11 months old. Cliff is 7 months 3 days.
It's shocking to us.

Important question

While I was at work, Sable asked Joel, "Where Mama?"
She knows who is in charge.

November 2, 2012

AAAAHHHHH!

Clifton just screamed so loud that Sable cringed; That made Cliff crack up.
