Walking to school

Four days a week the kids and I wake up early to change, dress, have a bite to eat, bundle up and walk Sable to school. I hold her hand and push Cliff in the stroller as he rips off his socks and hat. We wave to the bus driver, sitting in the first big empty bus in front of the school and she waves back, smiling at my babies. Sable and I make it through the crowd of "older" kids (they're about 7-12 years old) and push the stroller up the wheelchair ramp. Today one of the older kids complimented Sables pink owl backpack. We made it through the automatic door just as the first bell rang and a flood of kids crammed through the doors behind us. We turn the corner and head down the main hall to Sable's classroom. Excited to see her friends she lets go of my hand and starts running and giggling. All I see is bouncing ringlets and that owl backpack. We make it into the classroom, hang up the backpack and her coat then join friends playing on the carpet waiting for the rest of the class to get off the bus; I can hear them coming behind us, "Sable's here!" Cliff and I wave "goodbye and have a nice day", mostly to the teachers because Sable has forgotten about us. We stroll back down the hall, through the front doors then zoom down the sidewalk headed home. The faster we go the louder Cliff giggles and claps.

Sable walked up to me holding her naked Barbie doll (All of her barbies are naked all the time). She pointed to the appropriate area and said, "Butt"

Kids vacation

While Joel and I were playing in South Lake, the kids were with Grandma Dawn and Aunt Stacy. Grandma and Stacy are currently recovering.

Amazing Sable

I'm laughing so hard! We watch The Biggest Loser every week as a family. at the end of the show Sable was trying to do sit-ups. I showed her to bend her knees, she had her hands behind her head counting "two ...fee... foe... ive...icks"

Mean while I've lost 15 pounds, Joel and Sable have ear infections, and Cliff is going to start walking and second.

Family update

Sable is saying every word we throw at her. It's great to see her so happy about knowing the names of things. She is getting very independent, it's shocking.

Clifton is standing and now standing up. He climbs with ease and walks around the house pushing his walking toys. He says "Dada", "Mama" and "Dase" which we think means "Sable look at me!"

Keri has lost 13 pounds and has started a weird nesting/cleaning/project finishing phase.

Joel has been busy with work, kids and trying to find more time to play games. He recently started a Game company with his friend Melody.

Being hungry, teething and closed doors.
