Medication
We went to the Doctors office this morning to check on Sable's cold/fever that has been going on for just over a week. Little miss Lulu has low grade walking pneumonia. Don't worry (Grandma's), We've got some medication to help fix it by Saturday. Sable is otherwise happy, eating and active.

Doctors Visit
Sable had her 24 month appointment today. Here are her stats:
Height - 37 inches - 97%
Weight - 28 pounds, 4 ounces - 70%
Head - 48.5cm - 75%
The doctor said she looks perfect, and tall!

Green Hills
Joel and I have been trying to find ways to save money the past year on everything. One of our biggest money saving purchases was on 2 Holmes electric heaters with ECO settings. The two heaters have cost us about $30 more per month on our electric bill. Because of the heaters we have not used our oil heat this year. At a cost of $120 per barrel of oil, the fees for having it delivered, and electricity to run the furnace; we've saved about $1400.00 in the past 7 months and 11 barrel's of oil. Our two little heaters kept us warm all winter.

Stories for this week
Monkey see, Monkey do!
So, Monday Sable and I took John and Janet to some wineries to hunt for sweet wines. At the first winery, Sable grabbed a clean wine glass and, holding it properly by the stem, pretended to drink out of it. After a very long pretend drink, she pursed her lips and moved her mouth around like she was swishing wine!
Grandpa John went with Joel and Sable to preschool today and Sable did two new things. She ate her bananas with a fork! That was a first. She has a very mature grip on silverware, pens and paintbrushes. The kids played with water colors today. Sable dipped her paintbrush into the water, then into the paint and started working on her picture. Everyone was very impressed that she figured out how to use water colors with out being shown. I think that makes her a prodigy...
Joel bought some water colors for home use!
