Sables blessing was so lovely! A lot of close family showed up to support her on her big day. Joel and I are so proud. Grandma Dawn kept Sable calm during church and Grandpa Mike flew in this morning just to see her be blessed, he had a hard time saying goodbye.
Joel has been at Gencon in Indiana all week and taking care of Sable sans daddy has been an adventure. There are no breaks, but I do love spending time with her. She's such a sweetie and usually an easy going little person. Gramma Jackie has been around to help out and Grandma Dawn has been on-call just in case, She's spending the night tonight so I can catch up on sleep a little. Sable and I went to a cute consignment baby clothes store the other day looking for sleepers and ended up with a small pile of new clothes. She is outgrowing 6 month old clothes because of her length. This week has gone better than I expected it to. Joel will be back on Monday, I can't wait to see him.
Yesterday this blog became one year old! There are 209 posts so far and I'd like to keep it going, it's a great way to share photos and stories. I started it as a journal that I could only write positive things in. It has been really great to have and read past months on once in a while.
