Doctors Visit

We went to the Doctors today and Sable got her flu shot. The Dr suggested getting a few more tests done on Sable to see where her development is at and if there could be any other issues (there is nothing new to worry about, we're just checking). Other than that, she looks great! We'll get signed up for some tests and get a dentist appointment scheduled soon, now that she has some teeth to show off.

Like a fish to water

Sable started her second round of swimming lessons today and seemed to pick up where she left off. Joel said she was relaxed and having fun. The Meadowbrook pool is more crowded than the one at Greenlake, but it was nice walking there and meeting neighbors.

Sable strikes again

One of Sables "Scoot-by" unlacing's. This is almost a daily occurrence. I'd hide my shoes if it wasn't so cute!

Feeling better

Little Lulu is starting to feel better. I hear her and daddy giggling in the living room together. So cute. She's a bit drugged up and she still has a rash around her mouth, but giggling non the less!

This is my 400th post.

Sable has been miserable the past two days. She had a temperature of 102.3 and didn't sleep last night at all. I didn't either and I'm sure Joel is a zombie at work today. She hasn't been eating well. I think she's teething (badly) or it's a virus. What ever it is I hope it's better soon.

Update: Molars are lame.

Catching up

Aunt Wendy and Family got Sable most of her winter wardrobe. SO CUTE! Sable has worn about half of the outfits so far and looks adorable in all of them!


Aunt Roni and I hosted a baby shower Saturday for Jessica René, Garrett's wife. The best part was when the three 18 month old girls saw the Baby Gym. They immediately swarmed. It was a good time.

For date night this week, Joel and I saw Eat, pray, love. good movie. It's been a while since I've wanted to see a "chick flick"; Joel, politely, did not put up a fight.

Sables physical therapy has changed to Fridays for Fall schedule. This week when the Physical therapist, Amy, walked into the house, Sable burst into tears. She knew it was time to workout. Amy said "Great recognition skills" and calmed her down. She's so good with stubborn babies! I was cracking up.
