I'm in mourning, my dream car has a blown head gasket. There are to many other issues to keep it in the family. I loved owning a convertible in Washington but now it's time for something sensible.

Crazy week

Sable had a cold last week that turned into an ear infection this week and has been throwing up regularly. Today was better and I hope she can go to school tomorrow. It feels like a punishment to make her stay home.

Clifton is a squirmy ball of happy. New abilities: slow crawling, fast army crawl, climbing, clapping, standing while holding on to something, holding the bottle, feeding himself with a spoon and he is SO close to sitting by himself that I'm adding it to the list. He can bite now too! Cliff's first tooth is in!

Joel is adjusting to his new schedule: commute, work, commute, family dinner, homework, sleep, repeat.

I, Keri, had some great family time this week. My dad was up for a small family reunion and I got a lot of genealogy basics shared with other family genealogists. I'm dying to play with all the new information.

No waiting in the Emergency Room

Last night Sable and I went to the ER. She has a severe ear infection in her left ear. The doctors were amazing and even gave her a cute teddy bear for being so brave. My poor girl. She has a lot of meds in her and is feeling much better. We were in and out of the ER in less than 1.5 hours.

"What If..."

... has been an annoying presence in our life for over two years. Yesterday, Joel found a good job. Today he is working at that job and we don't need to worry about "What if's" any more. We can plan. It's an amazing relief!

Today was my first day at my new job! I found a permanent  Part time job at Macy's in the fine Jewelry department. It's close to home, flexible hours and I have an excuse to wear all black now! I still have my Winery job, I love it to much to give it up. Isn't it every woman's dream to be surrounded by Diamonds and Wine?!

This is my 800th post. I care about this blog a lot. It's better than a baby book for the kids and more interesting/positive than keeping a journal. I love sharing our little life moments with our family and friends. 800 posts is a lot in 4 years and 2 months.

6 Months Old Today

Clifton is 6 months old now! That went kinda fast! Here he is wearing a size 12 month onesie.

*****UPDATE*****

Doctors comments: He's about two months ahead and officially crawling at 6 months old. Feed him rice cereal 2x per day. He got four shots in his legs. He was upset for a minute then quickly cheered up.
