My cousin Lynn had her baby!!!

He was born Thursday May 26th. His name is Dwayne Jerrald Campbell. Congratulations Lynn and Eric and welcome Dwayne!

Joel's hanging with friends and Sable is at grandma Dawns house so I'm at home alone... folding laundry and playing MY music too loud!!!

Sable appreciation time...

We are so crazy in love with our little Sable. She is the nicest person and so pretty that we can't stop looking at her. Every time we go out I hear, "best behaved child in the store" or "Look at those beautiful eyes" or "is her hair natural". I'm so proud to be her mom. This week she mastered Grandma Jackie's "princess wave". It was so cute. Also Joel and I had a meeting with her school and heard about all the wonderful progress she's made. It was great to be in a room filled with people that love teaching her. She knows a ton of sign language and is starting to make the vowel sounds that match those words. Sable's just amazing.

Our plumbing is being fixed and upgraded. This house really needs a face lift and it feels great to be starting on the biggest project!

She has been cruising around the house all evening on her little John Deere Tractor! She needs a little help turning but made it from the front door to her bedroom dresser giggling the whole way! Joel was laughing and following her the whole time. She also gave us the sign for "eat" with no prompting. Joel saw it and jumped up to get her some food. She's doing so many new things this month!

New firsts!

Sable is progressing. On Thursday, Both Joel and I went to preschool with her, she kept looking at us and smiling. Her friends were adorable and the teachers were so nice. I played with her in the gym and got to see her pushing around the little yellow shopping cart with no help at all; It was amazing. For the first time, she climbed up 4 steps. She is deathly afraid of stairs but we got her to do it happily a few times! The other first is that she can sit on her John Deere tractor and make it go! She's a pro at going backwards and working on going forwards. It's such a relief to see her learning new ways to play.

We're over the sore throats we had this week. Sable is back at preschool refusing to walk, Joel made his drawing teacher say "wow" over his midterm and I, Keri, got a 100% on my Wine 133 quiz.

UPDATE: Sable pushed a little shopping cart at school today while playing with her physical therapist Amy. That's right, she walked with a cart!
She also had a 2-year-old sized tantrum in class. Don't take her rattle away!
